I’ve just returned from a month long work trip to Bali and played a few gigs at my favourite hidden bar “40 Theives,” in Umalas on their closing weekend. It’s been an institution of the underground music scene in Bali, set above a Ramen kitchen, you walk through a nondescript door, then up the stairs which ones up into a NYC Style speakeasy. The owner, Shah is taking the venue in a new direction to embracing the huge live Music Scene in Indonesia (think Tiny Desk by NPR sytle).  It was a pleasure to play there one last time and attend their wild closing party! Overseas I had many ideas for new music to create, and this one here was one of them ….. 

 I put a lil trickery on “CYMANDE – Dove” out today . On the spiritual psychedelic funk trip with a disco-house twist.
