Hyped to be laying down the cuts this Thursday night again at Haymarket Hotel: think funk, soul, hip hop and r&b flavas for a cooled out thursday spot after work. The venue is right on george st in the cbd near chinatown, you can catch a dinner special with free beer for pocket change, great beers on tap in a relaxed atmosphere; catch some sport on the big screen and vibe out to the beats. Nice mixed crowd from early on til late 1am or so! Over the past weeks we’ve had some Sydney heavyweight selectas holding down Thursdays like DJ TREY, MR JAYSON, DJ MAKOTO, DJ ADVERSE, JUZZLIKEDAT, KRYSTEL DIOLA, PHIL TOKE to name a few.
This Friday I”m joining the homies D-COW (killa man on the cuts) and DJ AMITY (the deck mistress who always rocks the crowd) at our favourite underground bar, PLAY BAT in Surry Hills, FREE ENTRY til 12am, and you can be sure of some phat and phonky beats through soul, funk, disco, hip hop and breaks. Always a cool crowd and always a riot on Fridays!
