After an amazing sold out show last year to close out 2ser subscriber drive for 2013 with legendary NYC DJ DP ONE, we are looking to do it all again with the help with some of Sydney’s finest selectors and some very special guests which we will be announcing very soon. We come together a community of music heads to help celebrate one of the local radio stations who has been there to support our scenes from day one.

Reigning from the heart of Sydney City, This group of DJ and music enthusiasts thrive not only because of their connection to real hip hop, jazz, funk and Afro inspired music, but also because of their ability to grow and change.Their extensive experience, music knowledge and independence has allowed them to explore and incorporate from unexpected sources, resulting in a party atmosphere uniquely their own.

A unique collaboration of this leading group of Sydney Djs has seen them come together and forming a Dj Collective as part of The Groove Dealers road show and resulted in a recipe of infectious beats, hooks, cuts, feel good rhymes and funked up party jams. Together for The Groove Dealers over the last 2 years they have played at self organised parties in Sydney and toured to the Victorian snow fields playing to capacity crowd’s creating a hands in the air party experience.

★More About Raine Supreme/
Raised in the inner city of Sydney during the 80s, Raine couldn’t help but be infatuated with the Growing scene of chaos and fresh styles around him that he would come to know as HipHop. After hearing crews like Boogie Down Productions and Public enemy on tape he couldn’t help but to find out how they were going about putting together these masterpieces….

Thinking back now he would have had no idea just how much these cassettes would effect his life. The search for the perfect beat began. Becoming an avid collector of HipHop and the breaks that built the scene he quickly realised this was gonna be his life long obsession, from wax to radio recordings and even reel to reels – no where is safe from the dusty fingers of this man. Since cutting his teeth in the dj scene of the late 90s and early 2000s Raine ha supported some of the most legendary names in the scene, artists such as – Jurassic 5, Apollo Brown, Dj JS1, Boogie Blind, Total Eclipse, Def Wish Cast, Exile, Pharoahe Monch, Afrika Bambaataa, Parliament Funkadelic, Dj Suspect, Rahzel, Quik, Kurupt, De La Soul, Blak Twang, Dj MK, Delta and many, many more. Raine also keeps his hands busy Co-hosting and djing for Hardcore Classic radio on user 107.3, running the NSW chapter of the DMC world dj championships, running local scratch jams, club nights, one off events and releasing an onslaught of mix tapes and fresh beats non stop…. A true lover of music with skills to match… this cat won’t sleep.
