The Terrace celebrates Sydney’s rich live music scene with a diverse line-up including a special acoustic set by Dave & Joji from the chart-topping Gang of Youths, indie-pop darlings Microwave Jenny, and the Latin jazz stylings of The Voice star Emma Pask.

That’s along with intimate sets by Jones Jnr, Pat Capocci and Richard In Your Mind, and an unmissable performance by one of Sydney’s favourite sons: Paul Capsis with Café at the Gate of Salvation, in which one of our most iconic voices sings alongside a 20-person gospel choir.

DJ Bubu will spin the decks with disco and 80s hits with easy-to-learn dance tutorials on Kid’s Day. Art and craft activities will keep the kids busy when they are all danced out.

The Terrace is designed by sustainable-style gurus Amber Road and takes inspiration from the garden rooftop renewals of New York to create a lush green oasis in the heart of the city.

Enjoy a post-work drink and bite to eat to the soundtrack of Sydney’s best DJs.

Fresh edit just up on record pool…

Pretty stoked to get the news this morning, I’ve got my 3rd track on this pool now. Take a listen here… old school classic remix edit of Tom Browne’s “Funkin’ For Jamaica”.

Until i get my new soundcloud account up and running with music – you can check out and download all my mixes/edits over at:

Music inspired by my Dad… a belated father’s day homeage!

Some easy listening on your commute to work! My Pops introduced me to so much good music when i was just a kid, in nappies – i didn’t even know what I was listening to at the time, but he surely moulded my taste in music. From Lou Rawls, to George Benson, to Nancy Wilson, Mel Torme to Louis Prima, to Sergio Mendes and Gal Costa, Kool and the Gang and Lionel Richie, Michael Jackson to Donny Hathaway to Wes Montgomery and Kenny Burrell. He even introduced me to Grandmaster Flash and The Furious 5, which we played on repeat.

Dad worked in our family record shop from the time he was 15 til the late 70’s in Pitt St, Sydney. My grandfather worked there too before him. It was initially opened up by my great grandfather in the 1930’s selling piano rolls around the Bondi area.

Whenever I go visit Dad i’m always meddling through his vinyl collection and always find something new. Here’s a few of my favourites we used to listen to back when I was a youngn.

I could keep going with this list, it’s endless.. but these next two… old man had on repeat.. constantly “breezin'” and “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy”

Quick lil edit of this all time funk classic FROM Tom Browne 1991 remix version. Free Download… I’m on three strikes pending so i’ll be uploading all new music to this new Soundcloud account : CMAN GOT SOUL

Check out my other edits on Youtube (download details in description)
