I’ll be on the decks tonight at one of Bondi’s funkiest lil bars, Bondi Hardware – spinning up soul, funk, latin and disco flavours til midnight.
In late November, 2011, the new look Bondi Beach Hardware was revealed. What was once a place for local tradesman and DIY enthusiasts, the site underwent a complete transformation, reopening it’s doors as a vibrant and welcoming bar & restaurant.
Our menu is designed with the ‘global share-style’ ethos in mind, and includes dishes such as our famous Sliders (mini burgers) or quirky pancakes (pork belly is my favourite), our speciality dishes such as Albacore tuna ceviche or a winter warmer of Lamb ragout with polenta chips. The culinary delights, cleverly constructed by our Head Chef, Dion Green, are ideal for group dining.
Not to be outdone by the food, the bar list will ensure you won’t go thirsty. The wine list includes a mix of classic and modern varietals
from AUS and NZ regions along with reputable and more obscure grapes and blends from across the globe. Our cocktail list, put
together by owner Hamish Watts, has been extremely well
received for its simplicity and thoughtful design. The list
features classic martini’s and signature blends such as
to the Loco Coco (whole young coconut loaded with
Havana Blanco, lime and coconut syrup).
After a brief break over January, Sydney’s funky duo from MAMA FEEL GOOD FUNK COLLECTIVE are back in town, DJ CMAN & JUZZLIKEDAT return to their residency at #Cafelounge spinning up their blend of usual funky soul flavours on Saturday 15th February.
Expect funky cuts from the late 60’s to fresh new release stuff as the fellas navigate their way through hip hop, disco, funk, reggae, latin and other tropical laced beats. Always a good night at #surryhills orginal small bar. Grab a lounge, kick back with a pizza and beverage and join the lads on the loungeroom dancefloor. 8pm til Midnight. Free Entry.
This Tuesday playing a live Brazilian Roots set from 7pm ABUKA, then DJ CMAN from 9pm spinning tropical vibes till midnight. $3 Pizzas all night long. Free Entry.
